Justis and JustCite

Recommended browsers are:

• Firefox 2.0 or higher
• Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher

Notes:

1. We strongly recommended you use the Firefox browser which can be downloaded from http://www.mozilla.com/
2. If you use Internet Explorer 6.0 or 7.0 it may help if you set your privacy options. To do this go to: Tools > Internet Options > Privacy ... click sites (Half way down the page).
3. In the address of website box add https://idp.londonexternal.ac.uk and click Allow on the right.

Logging in

1. On the portal home page select the tab to access the Online Library. This will take you to your Online Library course gateway page.

2. From your list of databases on the right side of the page select Justis or JustCite, to go to the login page as shown below.

3. In the bottom right hand corner select the Your Home institution Button.

4. You are then taken to the organisation sign in screen.

5. Type University of London: External System in the box provided and select Continue. Alternatively select Let me choose from a list to view the organisation drop down list, and select University of London: External System from the list of organisations.

6. On the University of London: External System page enter your student portal username (UID) and your password.

6. A page saying Shibboleth Authentication Request Processed will flash past and you will be taken to the home page of Justis or JustCite.
