Dewey Classification
This scheme uses numbers to code subjects. It can be found in the Music Collection, the Book Studies and Librarianship Collections. It is also used in the Rapid Reference sections of some collections to organise reference books such as dictionaries, bibliographies and encyclopedias.
Books are arranged on the shelf according to the code in a straightforward numerical sequence.
