New for 2009: Academic Search Complete
The Senate House Library has upgraded its EBSCO subscription from the database Academic Search Permier over to Academic Search Complete. This contains indexing and abstracts for 1,800 additional journal titles, with full text for 1,600 more journals. The database features PDF content going back as far as 1887, with the majority of full text titles in native (searchable) PDF format. The Senate House Library is working on integrating the new URLs and journal records into the Library catalogue.
Academic Search Complete is a comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 6,100 full-text periodicals, including more than 5,100 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 10,100 journals and a total of more than 10,600 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. and is updated daily!
