Academic Search Complete contains indexing and abstracts for more than 8,600 full-text periodicals, including more than 7,500 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 12,500 journals and a total of more than 13,200 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, in biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, psychology, religion & theology, etc. The database features PDF content going back as far as 1887, with the majority of full text titles in native (searchable) PDF format. IngentaConnect is a database containing over some 4.5 million articles from 13,500 publications available for online, fax or Ariel delivery. Some of the journals are available on the library's subscriptions. - JSTOR
JSTOR includes archives of over 1,400 leading academic journals across the humanities, social sciences, and sciences, as well as select monographs and other materials valuable for academic work. Produced by the highly regarded Institut de l’Information Scientifique et Technique du Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, FRANCIS indexes multilingual information published in over 4,300 journals and provides abstracts for 80 percent of its 2 million records covering wideranging topics in the humanities and social sciences. - BASE
BASE searches over 2.7 million documents from 189 sources. Among them are numerous academic full text archives that are accessible through the international protocol of the Open Archive Initiative (OAI). Most of the documents are freely accessible and can be searched on the basis of metadata or full text.
