The new Centre for Manuscript and Book Studies is now in operation.
This completes the programme to upgrade research and teaching accommodation to promote use of the Library's collections and research skills training, and provides greatly enhanced new storage space for Historic Collections.
More of the manuscript and palaeography material can now be stored on open access shelves in the section.
Special Collections services include the University Archives, manuscript collections, rare book and other special collections of published documents, and the Palaeography Collection.
