H G Wells Collection

The H.G. Wells Collection comprises some 133 items, namely an almost complete set of first editions of the works of H.G. Wells and other early editions of his books and pamphlets. All are in the English language and most are published in England, although there is also a Tauchnitz edition of The New Machiavelli. The collection was formed in 1962 under an agreement between the H.G. Wells Society and the Library. Related collections within the Senate House Library: Sterling Library; English Collection.

The Collection is recorded on the Online Card Catalogue, accessible from the Main Catalogue menu, which includes pre-1980 publications not yet transferred to the Main Catalogue
