Law
Collection overview
The Law collection is intended to supplement the Library's research collections in other Humanities and Social Sciences subjects. It is therefore interdisciplinary in nature, covering such topics as jurisprudence, legal theory, the history of Law, constitutional, social and economic issues.
The collection also includes:
- a set of standard works in principal areas of the law, in effect forming a basic reference collection
- a selection of key academic journal titles in paper or electronic format
- some of the major UK Law report series, such as the English Reports (for cases up to 1865), the Law Reports (from 1865), the Weekly Law Reports, and the All England Law Reports. These are available in printed form up until 2004. The full text of many law reports is also available in electronic form through various databases
